Join Asterix and Obelix in the 16th volume of the best-selling series by Goscinny and Uderzo: Asterix in Switzerlad, as they go on yet another adventure, this time to the land of cheese, to find an ingredient to save the life of the most unlikeliest of people: a Roman Quaestor!

When Quaestor Vexatius Sinusitus investigates the corrupt Condatum's Roman governor Varius Flavus, he discovers that the governer has been setting aside a part of the taxes for his personal coffers, and he realizes that the matter needs to come to the eyes of Caesar. However, Flavus will do anything to prevent just that, including poison the Quaestor and provide an inept group of doctors who only make matters worse. The Quaestor realizes that his life will be forfeit if he doesn't get help soon and resorts to an unusual solution to the problem. He sends for Getafix, the Druid of the only Gaulish village which has not declared fealty to old Julius. Getafix feels duty bound by the Druid's code and agrees to see to the Quaestor. He discovers that he needs a particular herb to completely heal the Quaestor, and this herb is available only in Helvetia, in present day Switzerland. The ever loyal Asterix and Obelix journey forth to fetch the herbs that their Druid needs, but little do they know that on the trail are Flavus's allies. However, with the Druid's magic potion in tow, the crazy Romans are no match for our friends. In yet another journey accompanied by laughter, puns galore and a rather unfortunate encounter with the ever-unlucky pirates, Asterix and Obelix will thrill readers of all ages, by the blessing of Belenos, of course.
